| I bought a canna off of the internet and when I received it it was a small plant about one ft tall and looking very healthy. It is a red and green variegated plant and I thought it would look good with my other tropicals.. It came with the root ball wrapped in paper towel and put in a plastic bag. I planted it in a 2 gallon pot and it has been setting on my heated sun porch for about 2 weeks. It keeps drooping and then it perks up. Don't know why. I'm sure its getting enough water. My question is why are the tips of the leaves starting to die. The plant description said it is a canna that can be grown in a garden pond or in the soil. How am I killing it? Thanks in advance |

| Well, if it is a canna, it's probably trying to die back... they do that here in the north. Even mine here in my zone die back. I'd cut back on the water a bit, most tropicals enjoy less water during the winter. BUT without a picture, it's hard to be sure. |
