Robert - I don't know if you can grow Miracle Fruit in zone 9. But if you can, Excalibur Fruit Trees on Fearnely Road in Lake Worth has them for sale. I can send you some fruit the next time mine has it and you can try to propagate the seeds, if you like. Send me an e-mail with your address.

Hi Robert, I'm in Ohio and have been growing a Miracle Fruit for two years now. PineIsland Nursery has them at a reasonable price and they are already flowering. Growing from seed is painstaking. Very very slow growing.

I see them for sale at logees.com but they aren't cheap.

Hi, I know this has nothing really to do with the topic, but I have a Miracle Fruit Tree thats about 2 yrs old. It has some yellowing leaves with like little brownish/black circles on the lower leaves. Could it be due to lower lighting or lower humidity?

Or I am sure someone will have them at "Greenfest" plant sale the USF plant sale

does anybody know what could be causing it? or has anybody experienced that happening to there leaves too? ive read that they dont need full sun but can also have partial sun or bright light. and I have quite a bit of light around it. Could it be the humidity?

ive also noticed some sticky stuff on some of the leaves...??

Robert you can go to www.floridamiraclefruit.com and buy it online to a reasonable price. I had bought a miracle fruit tree that is about 2 yrs old and it is already flowering. But you can buy a Miracle fruit in all different size. Also the guy that sale it is really nice too.

Hey Hottie...need a little more info. What zone are you in? Growing in a pot or in the ground? Soil needs to be VERY acidic...4.5-5.5 range. They can take full sun and will do well with a lot of watering. Humidity can be a factor. Can start misting the plant several times a day. If growing in a container, set the container on a tray of pebbles filled with water. This will create a little micro environment to help with humidity. Older leaves will often turn color and drop. If you are getting new growth, I wouldn't be too concerned...unless the rate is very high.
