How pretty! It is an Anthurium and the species andraeanum, also sometimes spelled andreanum, commonly called Flamingo Flower or Tail Flower. Yours is one of thousands of cultivars of this pretty blooming species. It has become one of my favorite plants.

They like to be kept warm, moist (but not soggy, wet!) and in bright, indirect sunlight. In those conditions, they will grow pretty fast and bloom almost year-round. Hot, humid conditions are best. I keep all of mine outside under oak trees and crape myrtle trees in shifting/dappled sunlight and they love it. I bring them inside during threat of frost or freeze... and they aren't crazy about nights where the temp drops below 50 either. Some cultivars will throw yellow leaves or drop them. Those come inside, too.

PS. I went to your "My Page" to see where you are located and it says Zone 8... but your zone above says 9a. Maybe you moved?
