Clerodendrum quadriloculare

I had previously seen this plant only in photographs, but on a recent trip to Ft. Lauderdale I saw it in person in full bloom and fell in love with it. The motel manager gave me permission to take cuttings; as far as he's concerned it's just a weed, growing under the fence from the property next door.
I know it's a tropical species and won't be hardy in the ground for me (although C. bungei is hardy to the point of being weedy), so assuming the cuttings root I plan to grow it in a container on my deck. Has anybody else tried to grow it this way? And more importantly, has anybody managed to bloom it in a container?
