Pepper Vine

I was looking at my pepper vine the other day and noticed that there were some small peppercorns forming on the flowerheads. The vine has flowered in the past but alas no peppercorns. If anyone knows when they will be ready to pick I would be interested to know. The vine is about 5 years old and was grown from a cutting that was given out at the Yandina Ginger Festival by the director of Brisbane Botanic Gardens

Wait for them to ripen to dark red , then pick and dry .
