What is the best grass / sod to plant in Zone 23

Please help!

I need to resod my lawn but don't know what type of grass is best. I live in Zone 23 (Hollywood Hills) and have a tropical-themed yard. The grass is going next to a pool and will receive pretty heavy use on weekends during the summer, but otherwise little or no use at all. I don't have any kids or pets.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

If you want something a little unusual, you might try variegated St. Augustine. That's what I have, but you can't beat Marathon (the original, not II) for your area.

I'm a landscaper and that's all I use down here in south Orange County.
