My Plant size

I have bought a gallon size Artabotrys from tt for $39. I feel that this plant is too small for their stated size(Top growth is after receiving it). I have contacted them about my concern. they said sorry about the plant size and told they will give discount on the next order.
Do you think I have received acceptable plant size?
Any comments would be appreciated.
