Congrats on getting it to flower in Indiana! It is really gorgeous. I grow a lot of gingers but I don't have that one yet lol. How warm do you keep your greenhouse during the winter?

Sultry - I keep my greenhouse at 50 degrees in the winter most of the time, but since this winter was horrible (we hit fifteen below, twice!) I turned it up to 55. The best thing I did for the tropicals, though, was increase the air circulation. That kept me from getting pockets of cold air that seem to really hurt the tropicals. Longicornutum didn't grow much after fall and just sat there until the buds came out on the tips after the first of the year. Bob
