finding strelitzia's alba&mandelas gold for purchase

I currently have a five year old nicolai (4 ft.) and a 1 1/2 year old reginae. Nicolai has not bloomed yet, though I understand since I just repotted it last summer ,it may take some more time for it to regrow into its new container. I have been looking (w/no success) for a place to buy the alba and mandelas gold varieties of birds, any-one have any suggestions? Also, it seems as though I have seen a pix of a red flowering bird, any-one know anything about that?

hi,there is a guy here in venice CA,that has mandelas gold.
i will try and locate his site.
i dont know if he ships,but if he has one,and it is small[i think his were in 6 inch pots,12 inches tall],you could buy it and i could go and pick it up and ship it to you if you would like,as he is only a few miles away from me

Unfortunately he only had 5 gallon pots for 200.00 and for one i wanted something i can grow myself, not something that waS FULL GROWN. NOT TO MENTION price was kind of high. Thanks anyway. Anyone else?

I've got Mandella's Gold, Strelitzia Alba, AND S. Caudata and S. Juncea. All well rooted in 4 inch containers.

I have a Mandela's gold that I started from seed I got mine at Seedrack....com, they were slow to start but mine is looking good now!

Does anyone know the difference between an Elliot's Yellow and a Mandela's Gold Strelitzia? I know that they are both yellow strelitzias, but are they the same?
