Mine demands shade and lots of water. If I forget to water, it drops a leaf in retaliation.

I watched your video and the plant looks very dry. Bat plants like a lot of water. I end up watering mine almost every other day. If it is root bound, repot it. If it is happy in the current container give it a good drink, bring it into some sunlight and fertilize it. As soon as the leaves start to droop give it water.

Tacca chantrieri or Bat Plant is native to SE Asia. It will tolerate drought, though may go dormant, but not cold. Temp should never be below 15C 60F. - Ian.
