Hi all!
I'm working on landscaping for a friend who lives in Enchanted Lake, Kailua, Oahu, Hawail.
He wants to add colorful plants that will grow to at least 4 feet that can grow in full sun and with strong winds. Right now he has some Mock Orange. This is for a row in front of his deck on a hill.

I also pruned the mock orange down to about 1.5' so they would grow fuller. I also removed a couple for space to plant other items.

I thought of plumbago and shooting star but now he is worried that they won't be able to survive with all the wind. I originally showed them Eranthemum and Texas Range for interesting folliage but they want flowers.

Any suggestions would be appreciated :)
