Is yours in the shade? Mine is in the sun and it doesn't look good. I'm not sure whether it's lack of water or too much sun.

We have a couple in the sun and a couple in the shade and the shade ones do much better!! The sun two haver been there for 4 years or so now and are quite established so they aren't burning up completely like i've seen many newly planted sunny ones do. even in the shade though they still need lots of water to keep from getting the burns.
if you can still move it without too much trouble it might be a good idea, other wise you'll face this burning and dying back problem every year in the really hot and dry months.(they can live a long time and grow into a really nice show peice!) well, Happy Gardening. Terry.

I guess I realized I had to move it although I was in denial. It's been so dry here even with a sprinkler system, it's not enough. I just planted it a few months ago and it looks like it's struggling. There aren't many new Barb's so we have to stick together!
