Assuming you're keeping as a houseplant?? They can get gigantic in the right conditions so would guess you're interested in the flowers?? They can be fantastic Bonsai or dwarfed subjects with root pruning .
How do you intend to maintain it over the long period??

I was looking at turning them into bonsai, but never actually went as far as shaping them. I do some root pruning when I repot and leave it at that (same pot size). They really are too skinny still to look decent as bonsai anyways. So I am letting the top grow as it wants until it gets unmanageable, then I prune it back. Supposedly that should 'fatten' up the stem a bit over time.

When I first had them they were balcony plants in summer, but we moved this winter and for at least a year they will be indoor plants.
Haven't really thought about long term, they seem to be doing fine, except for having more flowers than leaves this spring, which I just find a bit odd, that's why I was asking :-)

They like direct hot sun, that might be why the leaves are thinning out.
