Palm frond fell on my newly planted Aglaonema

This afternoon a palm frond fell on the top of a recently planted Aglaonema (planted around a month ago) and pretty much flattened it. Besides being ready to run screaming through the yard like a maniac, am totally at odds as to what one can do to help the poor thing. Its planted in all the right conditions and was growing beautifully until today. So what say you? Is there hope? Or should it be replaced or left to see what happens? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Really not one to give up on a plant so am really willing to give it time; and with our South Florida climate if there is a chance it will grow back it should do so fairly quickly. Just don't know if it will grown back, that's the reason for the question.
