Hi all,

I purchased a bird of paradise from gruneys. Its finally started some new leaves, but when I received it looked like some of the leaves/stalks were cut as there are short stumps and are brown at the tips. Should I cut off the brown tips?

Also there are some smaller leaves that have brown spots and looke like the leaves had been eater before shipping. Should those leaves be cut off?

This is my first experience with the bird of paradise.
