seed pod on the top of madagascar jasmine plant

there is a seed pod growing on the top of my madagascar jasmine plant. don't they normally grow at the bottom? if they do grow at the bottom is it going to get heavy and break off? if it's going to break off anyway is there a way i can take it off without hurting the plant?

sorry these might be stupid questions but i've never had a plant before and i'm not sure what to do.

I'm looking for Jasmine but can't find any locally.

Sorry I can't really answer your questions, if it were me I might just snip it off, or if you want to keep it then put a support stick next to it and tie them together with some twine to prevent it tipping and snapping off.

They supposedly take 1 year to ripen. Then you have to cover them with fine sheer material to catch the seeds. I have been looking for seeds or cuttings. They are hoya family related. I had a nce vine growing from cuttings, but it froze this past winter.
