Tacca leaves grow crumpled... ?

Does anyone have any idea why tacca leaves would grow all crumpled up? The roots look really good - I pulled the plant out of its pot a few months back but all new leaves (since I've had it) grow crumpled up. There is even a new shoot coming up that is doing the same thing. Not enough humidity? light? fertilizer?

Thank you!

Eric

Is it all the leaves, or are the new ones from the center emerging small and "crumpled"? It its the new ones, it may be blooms

Hi
Have a black that produces leaves that I wouldn't describe as "crumpled" or "pleated" but definitely not smooth. I'd call it a "lumpiness" Sort of an unmade bed look. Varies greatly from leaf to leaf but newest with the most lumps.lol
Have had it for several years and it grows and flowers well. Had to go out and look at it lol gary
