| Hi there,
I have an Aristolochia elegans growing like a weed on my north-facing garage wall. It gets mostly shade, with a few hours of sun in the late afternoon. It is growing like mad, but not a flower bud to be had...Not enough light or is it an end-of-summer-show? Thanks!

| My A. gigantea doesn't usually bloom until late fall each year here in Sacramento; I don't know if would be the same with elegans... A. californica blooms in early spring (usually before the leaves appear). Aristolochia watsonii blooms in early summer... Mike |
