Aristolochia no flowers?

Hi there,

I have an Aristolochia elegans growing like a weed on my north-facing garage wall. It gets mostly shade, with a few hours of sun in the late afternoon. It is growing like mad, but not a flower bud to be had...Not enough light or is it an end-of-summer-show? Thanks!

My A. gigantea doesn't usually bloom until late fall each year here in Sacramento; I don't know if would be the same with elegans... A. californica blooms in early spring (usually before the leaves appear). Aristolochia watsonii blooms in early summer...

My only aristolochia that is blooming so far is the fimbriata.
