Tree/Plant - ID please?

On my first walk this summer around the neighborhood (central Florida), I walked by this tree/plant. Just a couple of months ago, the stalk in the middle was just barely starting to come up. I was so surprised to see it like this tonight! Anyone know what this is?? It's so cool!

I believe that's it! This cultivar seems to be a good match:

agave americana marginata

I guess this one is a variegated variety and has the more curved, or droopy, leaves like the one in my photo.

Agave!! Once they bloom, which only happens in about 20 years, they die.
