jackfruit tree : no fruits

Hi Tropical Plant Experts

I have a jackfruit tree which I planted about 4yrs ago. The tree has since grown about 10 feet tall. It produces a bunch of male and female flowers but no fruits. Does anyone know if it needs to be handpollinated? Or is the weather/zone not right for it? I live in Tampa which I believe is 9b.

Any help would be appreciated.

You might try asking over at yahoo. They have a group over there that covers rare fruits.

Lots of jackfruit growers over there.
