oh I know this shrub. I use it as a hedging. the more it is pruned the bushier and likes a lot of water when the weather is hot. it's very easy to propagate too. I do cutting, and the woody trunk grow some kind of aerial root near the ground (probably humid), which can be cut and planted. It grow well here in melbourne even near freezing point.
