Oleander Tree

Need some help here I am new to gardening and planting, I bought 3 oleander trees about 3-4 tall and planted them in very large pot around my pool, they are on an auto water system for 2 minutes 3 times a day and the blooms are lovely, but as the trees have grown..fast.... the long branches are drooping down. It almost is starting to look like a willow tree.

I am pretty sure they are to be upright correct, my mother has the same tree and hers are upright but with much fewer blooms.

Sometimes they will grow droopey when they aren't recieving enough sunlight. When they are grown in full sun, they bloom more profusely and they grow compact and upright.

they are in total sun all day, no shade ever, unless we don't have sun....could i be watering to much?

Hi jason - my oleanders droop as well, but only when they are wet (from the weight) or when they need water. My experience with oleander is that they will take whatever you throw in their direction. A great plant!

Having a great outcome with Oleander indoors...last year sold our home taking the 8 ft. oleanders by the pool and placing in very large pots placing indoors. Not sure if they would make it (definitely would have died during the winter outdoors) and to my surprise, after a few leave drops,
the recovery to flowering and new branches has occurred. Will they go through shock placing back outside?
