Anthurium white flower color

Hello, I was sold an anthurium that had a white flower. Most of the plant was eaten by my cat and so i managed to save a piece that I have finally nursed back to life putting several large leaves and now opening a flower bud and another on the way.

However, its opeining and the flower is not white....its more like a washed out red or even pink. Now I know some flowers change color from the time they start opening to the final stage of when its fully open (I have orchids and some start out lighter and get darker or vice versa).

Is this somehting that my anthurium will do? OR was the orinial plant sold to me a mix of white with other red flowered plants potted with it?

I seriously hope its not the latter. Thank you!
