| I have a beautiful bougainvilla plant that has thrived throughout the year. All of a sudden it started losing its flowers and leaves so I thought it was outgrowing it's pot. I replanted it in the ground since it was growing so large. It is rapidly deteriorating, losing its leaves, flowers and very dry. I have fed it and watered it well like when it thrived.
Any ideas??? |

| Not sure I know what you mean by describing it as very dry. What is dry?--the leaves?, the stems? the soil? Do not OVER water it at this point. It sounds like transplant shock. Did you recently transplant? I would generally discourage transplanting in the summer--but leave it alone at this point. It should recuperate though. Good luck!--PS., Do not feed it. |

| I would quit watering it...I have just dug up some non-thriving bougainvillea from my yard and put them in large planters and they are quite sad looking right now too. Hope it works out. |
