I'm curious if anyone can tell me how long Deppea splendens flowers last--both the individual flowers and the entire inflorescence.

I'm also looking for tips on how to root cuttings of this plant.

I just bought the seeds from ebay and it arrived yesterday. It was so tiny that I end up planting all of it. I would like to know if anyone here grow this variety and if they have any photo they can post so I can compare mind when they sprout.

Thank you.

RE: Deppea splendens questions

Yes, Deppea splendens seeds are very tiny. I've grown many of these little seeds into large blooming plants.

This picture from April 2010 is a freshly sprouted seedling.

RE: Deppea splendens questions

Thank you. The seedlings were from different seller that I started about two weeks ago. Now I can compare the seeds I receive on Aug. 2, 2014 from different e-bay seller when they come up.
