Jambu plant not flowering

Posted by sujeetsanzgiri (My Page) on

I have a 5 year old Jambu plant which has taken well (planted through seed), but it hasn't produced any flowers yet. I've researched the web and found posts giving these trees anywhere from 2 to 4 years to fruit.

Is there anything that can be done to initiate flowering/fruiting?

Thanks.

I would agree with your statement if the plant was grafted. From seed...I would lean more to the 5+ years depending upon conditions.
