Avocado First Pinch

When do I do my first pinch?

I have an avocado "tree" that I started from a seed about 2 or 3 weeks ago.

I transplanted the plant from water to soil about 5 days ago.

I used the cactus soil.

The roots were about 2.5 in long and the "tree" was about 1 in. tall.

Now my tree is about 3 in. tall.

I am growing this plant in my office directly under a florescent light and it seams to be working really well!

This tree is growing fast. 8 in. tall now. That's 2 in. in one day.

I've come to the realization that no one is gonna answer my question here ... My plant is now 11 in. tall and the leaves are 1.5 in long. This avocado is really doing good!

For me when I pinch back the plant it only sends up another right along side of the first trunk without branching out. But then just maybe I needed to pinch off at a leave for better results. Good luck, I have just started a Mango plant as they are to me prettier than an avocado plant.
