| Does anyone have this growing in southern California? I recently acquired a small specimen, and was told it grows very fast. I think it's a carthaginensis.
I have a small yard near the beach and am hoping it will fill in a much needed area for shade & screening of the large house across the alley. Do not want something invasive or suckering. |

| I have grown this plant in Lemon Grove, a few mile inland from the beach near San Diego. It grows well there with a winter dormant period. Phil Bunch |

| Phil, how long have you had it, and how big is it? |
|
| I no longer live there so I don't know what happened to it. It was about 4 feet high when I left in Jan. 08. I'm now located in Medellin, Colombia. |
