Hi all,

I am interested in growing mangoes from seed, but I am concerned about the number of years before it will bear fruit.

I have been told that it takes 15 years for an avocado tree to bear fruit when planted from seed and that the tree that results may not be as good as the one the seed came from.

Also, is now a good time to sprout the seed, or should I wait until next year?
