Hello all,
I managed to collect some ripe (and overripe) coffee cherries while I was on vacation on Maui in early July. I removed the outer "skin" of the cherries and planted the beans in some cactus mix in some cups with holes poked in the bottom for drainage:

As you can see, many of them have sprouted. I was really surprised since I'd read it's difficult to get coffee to grow from seed.
My question is, what now? I have them in a NE-facing window. They get a bit of direct sun in the morning, although that will disappear as the days start getting shorter. I water them enough to keep the soil constantly moist. I've read that I can use a bit of orchid fertilizer on them, although I haven't added anything yet.
Any other recommendations?
I can't wait for the primary leaves to emerge from the coffee been shells...
