Australian Tree Fern Wobbly

I have a Australian Tree Fern plant and it's been in place for a little over a year. It's four feet tall. I just noticed it is VERY wobbly. I was going to pile up some soil around it and stake it. Is it a goner? Would I be wasting my time. It was doing so well. Thanks for your help.

Sounds like a fast grower that hasn't quite kept up with the root growth.If you see roots at the base then it was not planted deep enough.Nothing to do other than stake and tie it up,add more soil,possibly with some rocks to keep soil from washing away. Stake,and give it more time to grow into its new home.
