Can I divide this ginger the same way I do my Butterfly gingers? I never really looked when I repotted it the last time. It's just starting to bloom so I'll wait but the plant has multiplied so much over the past year that the roots have split the pot it's in. I'd posted on the ginger forum a while back but never got a response.

Karyn, I don't know why you couldn't treat it as any other ginger.

Finally a response! lol That's what I'm going to do. The reason I asked was because I never noticed any tubers when I transplanted it, but then again didn't really look carefully. With my other gingers the tubers were very noticable.
