Due to all the heavy rain we experienced earlier in the year in SW Houston, my Mexican BoPs are just now blooming. We normally divide and repot our BoPs every other year but because of all the rain earlier in the season, we didn't get a chance to do it as planned and the plants have just now started to bloom! I was wondering if it would hurt the plants if we divided and repotted them now or should we wait until the blooms are gone. I would like to repot before winter they have totally outgrown their pots and I'm afraid the roots will be exposed. BTW, the "mother" plant is 14 years old. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
