Have never shipped miracle fruit but often ship flats of raspberries and blueberries from Florida to St. John.
I use priority mail which takes about four days if mailed on a Monday. I wrap the entire flat of individual plastic containers with saran wrap. Then I invert the flats one on top of the other so the berries are in containers in the middle and the hard flat surrounds the entire package. I use no ice nothing that will cause them to get wet. I include the little disks that you put in the vegie drawer to prevent gases from spoiling in the fridge. It seems to work. When they arrive I unpack put the individual plastic boxes and put in heavy duty ziploc bags and freeze immediately. This gives me fresh berries for many months.AJ

Thanks AJ for the information. Were you shipping your berries to St. Johns, USVI? I'm glad to hear that all arrived intact due to your careful packaging. I'm only sending 5-10 berries from here up to Boston. I may just go with some sort of ice pack figuring in the "sweat factor" and see how it goes. Even if the berries don't make it as far as eating them, the seeds will still be alright for rooting purposes. I still have a week or 2 before thy're red and ready so I'll figure something out.
