I just got to try my first fruit from my "Fwang Tung" carambola tree. I've been wondering a little if it was mislabeled, however, because the fruits look awfully yellow compared to other Fwang Tung pictures I've seen on the internet, which look white. The shape is similar - very round and mid-sized.

The flavor was unique, though. It was sweet and very mild, almost like a pear, but it also had kind of a coconutty undertone to it. It wasn't very citrusy at all. Does this flavor sound like Fwang Tung or something else? I'm just curious what I have...
