Colocasia Gigantea soil type?

Hi everyone

I'm bringing in a small colocasia Gigantea that was planted outside for the winter. Has anyone tried this, if so do they need special care? Usually I cut my Elephant ears down and bring in the bulbs, but this guy didn't get very big this summer, so I'm going to pot it and hopefully get some size this winter. My Question is do I put a light on it or just stick it near a window for the winter?
