but at least Mr Mango and the Desert Rose are OK

Well folks I may be having issues with my Royal Poincianas, (I think I may be too hopeful on them, never mind) but luckily my Kent Mango is flourishing and is sending up yet another whorl of 9 leaves as I write. It is looking very promising and hopefully will survive it's first winter ok.

My seed sown Desert Rose is also going well at around 5inches tall with many leaves and several little branches. It's caudex is fattening up slowly too. Hope it will not go into dormancy as new leaves are still being produced. It survives in the south window during the day and come evening hops onto the lid of the tropical fishtank for a bit of bottom heat and a drink of water when dry. Figured out this was the best time to water it, use warm water and the extra heat keeps the soil warm while it's wet rather than being cold and wet if the sun doesn't get to it in the window. Perhaps should have put the RP's with it.

Gill.
