So, you are another mango seed enthusiast then? I have a potted mango that I started this spring, have posted some pics in the thread on here called 'How to germinate a mango seed' along with some other members who are also having a go. I must admit to not being fussy as I have not used a specific type of fertilizer for mine as during our UK growing season (which has been dismal and short this year)it tended to get a dose of general purpose stuff. Nothing too high in nitrogen though as I don't want it to grow loads of soft sappy growth or get huge as I have to keep it potted and overwinter it indoors somewhere. I needed to grow it fairly hard so the growth ripens up and hopefully help it to survive the colder months here. I think I'm in with a chance as it's looking good at the moment with yet another set of baby leaves coming on.
I did have a go at germinating some fresh Papaya seeds, they sprouted readliy but didn't get beyond a couple of inches high before they gave up and died, so have no ideas on them.
Sorry I can't give you any real help as regards your fertilizer quest, plus as a UK resident, our brand names would not be much use to you I guess.
