I have had 100% overwintering by storing this one and all colocasia bare root in buckets of water! Yes water!

Dig the plant, cut off the roots cleanly, blast off every spec of dirt, cut tops back to 6-12" and stick in a bucket of clean water. If you do a good job cleaning off the roots, they will not foul the water. Also cut off old leaf stem bases.

I have stored mine cold at 45f and warm at 75f same result, slow growth over winter, bucket full of roots and leaves by spring! Easiest thing I have ever done. Top off the water as it evaporates.
