I would leave it alone, at least for now. That isn't all that tall yet, branching would probably occur when it is a little taller. If you do want to clip the growing point to help it along, wait till spring when it will speed up its growth.

Thanks! Yes, come to think of it, pruning does stimulate growth. So waiting until spring would probably be the best idea.
