Tropical crinums having bad reaction to insecticide

Posted by jfknigh2 none (My Page) on

I noticed mites on my crinum lillies before bringing them inside and sprayed them with pyrethrin/permethrin mix and now they have wilted. I have since sprayed the leaves with soap/water mix then rinsed in hopes of removing it from the leaves. Is there anything else I can do or are the plants doomed? Thank you

Jon

Could it be that they wilted because their environment has changed to a warm dry home? You could cut back the leaves and let them start over. They should come back.
