drying out my EE bulbs

Hi All,

About 2 weeks ago I dug my Pink China, lime zinger and black magic out and put the bulbs in my shed all lined up in nice rows... I just moved them outside on a cloth tarp and covered them lightly with the cloth tarp. Question, how long to I have to keep them outside drying up until I can store them in the perlite I bought?

I don't know about Pink China, but I put my Lime Zinger and Black Magic in small pots and keep them barely moist over winter with some light and in my cool/cold (but not freezing) garage. Not sure they can dry out completely. This is my first time to try to winter over a Black Magic. A friend of mine grows Black Magic in a bucket of water in a greenhouse over winter. Lime Zinger likes to be dryer though. I'm interested to hear what others do.
