How Big of a Cocoa For Fruit?

Edymnion

I have a cocoa tree I bought this year that has been doing well in a container so far, and I'm wondering just how big does one need to be in order to bear fruit?

I'm too far north to leave it out year round due to freezing weather in winter, so it has to stay in a container (this will be the first year overwintering it, still gotta see if it'll survive), and I'm wondering if it'll ever actually be able to get big enough to make me a pod?

Does anyone know if it can bear at just 3-4 feet, or is it one of those that should start producing fruit at a dozen feet?

I'm growing it just for the sake of growing it, but it would be nice to try my hand at making my own chocolate.
