| I have a bunch of heliconia but some of them are coming up with pale,almost white leaves. what do they need? also, do I need to cut down the ones that have bloomed to make room for new shoots? they're in a constricted area. |

| Well, my first thought is they need more fertilizer. But, they also could be getting too much sun. Probably a combination of both. If the stalk has flowered, then, yes cut it down (at the bottom). |
