Please help identify this tropical shrub

Last summer I purchased a potted shrub that has orange clustered flowers like a hydrangea and the leaves look like those of a gardenia. I know it begins with the letter E. It has been brought into the house for overwintering and I can't remember the name. Thanks for your help.

It sounds as if you have Ixora - do a google.com search and see if that's it.

I agree with kayjones. They are commonly used as hedge shrubs in FL, kind of like azaleas here.
