Yesterday I saw what appeared to be a Bromeliad, with very bright Yellow (w/tints of Orange) leaves. No bloom, I'm talking only of the leaves.

Problem is, I don't know of any bright yellow Bromeliad's, so I went searching on Google. I found a few photos, but no species that when researched, was consistently a true yellow or orange. Searching the term yellow, even yellow leaves, primarily results in yellow flowers, which is different.

I know the Blue Moon variety is popular here in Florida, but that's more of a lime color. Google had come up with Rainbow and Orange (Aechmea blanchetiana) - those being some of the most beautiful I've seen, but they're really a red-orange.

I thought some of the wizards here at the Zone-10, er, Tropical forum might have some insight?
