I'm sorry to hear about your Mucuna . I really can't tell you what the problem is. I can only tell you that I have the same experience here in southern California inside my heated greenhouse.

So far I have killed two Mucuna novo-guineensis. They were large and healthy when they arrived from Hawaii, but with in a few months they were dead. They grew for awhile, but then started to decline.

I am not giving up. I have ordered 3 more cone size plants and hope to have better luck with them.

My Strongylodon macrobotrys and Strongylodon siderospermum
both are doing fine. They are easier for me to grow as well.

You can get either the red or green jade vines from "Gardinos " as wella s "Searles" here in Florida save you a bunch on shipping??? They are both very cold sensitive in my experience. Good luck gary

I was at Gardino's a week ago and they don't have any Jade vines available right now, red or green. I don't know if they're waiting on cuttings they've propagated to mature or what but they do have a waiting list posted on line. Zone 9 Tropicals has some in 1 gal pots in stock for $25.

Gary where is Searles? Anywhere near West Palm? I've never heard of it but would like to check it out when I'm back in FL, maybe in Feb.
