I have an indoor palm tree that has what looks like black termite droppings coming from the holes in the bottom of the pot. This has become progressively worse over the last year. Every week there is a pile up of these droppings and the dirt keeps going down. When I water the palm these droppings also pour from the holes. Is it lots of worms, what kind, don't see any, no movement. Or is it a giant worm? Hope it's not the later, that's why I don't want to go exploring beneath the surface of the soil. I rather throw the palm out than see something gross. What is it???
