Very cool. You have some great varieties. BTW my medinilla finally bloomed and now has "fruit". I'm waiting on them to ripen so I can try growing it from seed.

I found another pod today. I am getting alot of late pods and blooms this fall. See if you ignore your plants all summer then they go crazy. If I took care of them they would prob be pouting now.
My sanservia just sent up a flower stalk as well. First time I've got that to bloom. They are supposed to be fragrant at night as well.
Hope someone can tell me how to plant the Nyctanthes..or I guess I will just have to experiment lol.

When the pods are dry (they will be brown), you could soak them in water for couple of hours (I did it overnight) and place them in a wet paper towel (coffee filter) and use the typical baggie method. For me it sprouted within a couple of days. But I lost it last winter and had been looking for a plant since then :-(

Thanks. I wonder how large the seeds will be? I will probaby plant them shallowly after I follow your method. I don't know how long they take to flower from seed. I have tried to root it before but not much luck. I am gonna try again in the spring. I got my plant from zone9tropicals. They send a pretty good sized plant for the price. They are out of stock right now but you can ask them when they would have them again.

Several yrs ago I had one that I bought at Logees. They don't list it in the catalog any longer but I know that they may still be growing them and may sell them if you email them. That is how I got mine. They sell them in very small pots though.
