Who still has avocados in January and what variety? Also can you post a picture of your tree and rate its flavor if possible. Also mention if you would recommend it to others and the location (city/state) where you are growing it.

Incorrect.....I still have avocados on my Monroe avocado tree. Adiel, you know where I am. In my opinion, Monroe is one of the best late Florida avocados.

I consistently have Choquettes past January. One year I served them at Easter dinner! This year for some reason I had a lot of fruit drop, but I still have two on the tree right now. I have family that grew up in Florida,and moved to California and started the great fruit debate. They LOVE Hass avocados. Well, not only did they like the Choquette, but they said they may even prefer it to the Hass. We have never had a disappointed "eater" of Choquette. I live in western Broward county, Southwest Ranches. Good luck in your hunt!!
